How the ride started

It all began with a young man’s dream of making it big in the city of Mumbai. Arjit Soni, a recent graduate, was filled with excitement and anticipation as he set out to start his professional career with PwC.

As he settled into his new life in the bustling metropolis, he quickly realized the struggles of commuting from his Hostel to Andheri station and similarly from Dadar station to his office. The daily grind of finding a rickshaw or cab to connect his first & last mile while using Mumbai locals was weighing him down.

But Arjit was not one to be defeated easily. With a spark of ingenuity, he came up with a solution that would change the way people move around in the city.

He purchased two bicycles and parked one at the Dadar station and kept one with him at his hostel.

Every morning, Arjit would cycle from his hostel to the Andheri station, park his bicycle there, board the local train to Dadar and go to his office using the second bicycle parked there.

Little did he know that this simple idea would pave the way for India’s most successful bike-sharing platform.

Today, MYBYK is revolutionizing the way people move around in cities, making it more sustainable and accessible for all.
